Chimehill at a glance for osteopathy clinics
Every call answered
Day, night and weekends, while your team stays with patients.
Booked only once confirmed
A caller hears they're booked only after your practice software saves it.
Never clinical
Bookings, admin and the answers you approve. Anything clinical goes to your team.
Your phone rings mid-treatment
In an osteopathy clinic the phone rings while your hands are on a patient, between appointments and after you've closed. A missed first-visit call rarely rings back. Chimehill answers each one, so you can stay with the patient in front of you.
Mid-treatmentHands busy. Phone ringing.
Answering mid-treatment is awkward for you and the person on the table.
Lunch breakThe desk is empty
Reception steps away, but new patients still ring.
After hoursThe clinic is closed
People ring after work. Chimehill answers and books them in.
Answer every call without leaving the treatment room

Books the right appointment type
First visits as the longer appointment and follow-ups with the same osteopath, into real slots in your diary.
Handles reschedules
Moves and cancels bookings, reads your notice policy and re-checks the new slot before saving.
Answers clinic questions
First-visit length, prices, parking and hours, from answers you approve.
Covers after hours
Evenings, weekends and public holidays: callers book or leave a message instead of ringing off.
Loops in your team
Questions about symptoms or whether treatment is safe go to your team, as do health fund, workers' compensation and motor accident calls. It never gives clinical advice.
Examples of how Chimehill helps osteopathy clinics

Example call: First visit question
Sunday · clinic closed- CallerCaller: How long is a first appointment with an osteo?
- Answer found
- ChimehillChimehill: At this clinic a first visit is booked for 60 minutes — longer than a follow-up, so the osteopath can take a full history.

- Free times found
- ChimehillChimehill: Wednesday at 4:00 pm or Thursday at 7:30 am. Which would you like?

Example call: Is it safe for me?
Lunchtime · 1:15 pm- CallerCaller: I'm pregnant — is it safe for me to see an osteo?
- This one needs a clinician
- ChimehillChimehill: That's a question for one of our osteopaths, so I won't try to answer it.
- ChimehillChimehill: I can ask an osteopath to call you back, or book you in to talk it through. Which would you prefer?
- CallerCaller: A call back would be great.
- The team will call back

Connect to the software you use daily
Chimehill reads your live diary in Cliniko, Splose, PracSuite or Nookal and books in real time. A caller is told they're booked only once your software saves it.

Careful with every call
Chimehill never assesses or advises on treatment. Suitability and symptom questions go to an osteopath as a callback, and urgent language follows the escalation script your clinicians approved.
- Never clinical. No diagnosis, triage or treatment advice
- Checks who's calling before opening or changing a booking
- Urgent or distressing calls follow the escalation script your clinicians approve
- Tells callers they're booked only once your software confirms it

Questions clinics ask us
Can it explain how long a first visit takes?
Yes — from the notes you approve. You write how long first visits and follow-ups take and what they cost, and Chimehill uses exactly that. If it isn't in your notes, it says so and offers a callback.
Will it book first visits into the right appointment type?
Yes. You choose which appointment types it may book. New patients get your first-visit type, returning patients get a follow-up with their usual osteopath where possible.
What about workers' compensation or motor accident claims?
It doesn't advise on claims. It can still book the appointment if you allow that, and it creates a callback task with the claim details for your team.
What if someone asks whether treatment is right for them?
That's a clinical question, so it goes to an osteopath as a callback. Chimehill never gives treatment advice, and urgent language follows your escalation script.
Which practice software does it book into?
Cliniko, Splose, PracSuite and Nookal. Chimehill reads live availability and only says an appointment is booked once your software has saved it. Using something else? Tell us when you book a demo.
Can we keep our clinic phone number?
Yes. You forward calls to Chimehill — all calls, only overflow when the desk is busy, or only after hours — and you can change that or switch it off whenever you like.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $249 a month (AUD) for 100 calls; the recommended plan is $379 for 200 calls. Calls past your allowance are $2.70 each. Every plan starts with 14 days free and there are no lock-in contracts.
Will callers know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. Chimehill introduces itself as your clinic's virtual receptionist on every call, and a caller who asks for a person always gets your configured fallback — a transfer or a callback.
Every call deserves an answer.
