Chimehill at a glance for acupuncture clinics
Picking up while the desk is busyThe call is answered
Chimehill picks up as your clinic when your team can't, day, night and weekends, and works out what the caller needs.
Your diary is checked live
Before offering a time, it reads the real free slots in your practice software, using only the appointment types and practitioners you allow.
Saved, then confirmed
Bookings, moves and cancellations are saved in your practice software first. Only then does the caller hear it's done.
Your phone rings mid-treatment
In an acupuncture clinic the phone rings during a quiet treatment, between clients and after you've closed. People calling for the first time often have questions before they book. Chimehill answers each one, so the room stays calm.
Mid-treatmentA quiet room. A ringing phone.
Answering breaks the calm your clients came for.
Lunch breakThe desk is empty
Reception steps away, but new clients still ring.
After hoursThe clinic is closed
People ring after work. Chimehill answers and books them in.
Answer every call without leaving the treatment room

Books the right appointment type
Initial consultations as the longer appointment and follow-up courses with the same practitioner, into real slots.
Handles reschedules
Moves and cancels bookings within your notice policy and re-checks the new slot before saving.
Answers clinic questions
What to wear, how long it takes, prices and parking, from answers you approve.
Covers after hours
Evenings, weekends and public holidays: callers book or leave a message instead of ringing off.
Loops in your team
Intake, health history and whether acupuncture will help go to your practitioners. It never collects health details or gives clinical advice.

Questions clinics ask us
Can it book initial consultations?
Yes. You choose the appointment type for new patients, and Chimehill books initial consultations as that longer type, offering only real free times.
Will it take a new patient's health history?
No. Chimehill doesn't collect health details on the call. Intake questions go to your team as a callback task, so your own intake process stays the same.
What if someone asks if acupuncture will help their condition?
That's a clinical question, so it goes to a practitioner as a callback. Chimehill never makes claims about what treatment can do.
Can it book a course of follow-ups?
Yes, if you allow it. It re-checks each slot before saving and only confirms the ones your software has saved.
Does Chimehill work as an AI receptionist for alternative medicine and holistic clinics?
Yes. Acupuncture, Chinese medicine and other holistic practices run through the same desk: it answers between sessions, books your appointment types, and leaves anything clinical for a practitioner.
Which practice software does it book into?
Cliniko, Splose, PracSuite and Nookal, live as of October 2026. Chimehill reads live availability and only says an appointment is booked once your software has saved it. Using something else? Tell us when you book a demo.
Can we keep our clinic phone number?
Yes. You forward calls to Chimehill — all calls, only overflow when the desk is busy, or only after hours — and you can change that or switch it off whenever you like.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $249 a month (AUD) for 100 calls; the recommended plan is $379 for 200 calls. Calls past your allowance are $2.70 each. Every plan starts with 14 days free and there are no lock-in contracts.
Will callers know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. Chimehill introduces itself as your clinic's virtual receptionist on every call, and a caller who asks for a person always gets your configured fallback — a transfer or a callback.
Every call deserves an answer.
Hear Chimehill answer as your clinic, booking into your own practice software.
