Chimehill at a glance for sports clinics
Picking up while the desk is busyThe call is answered
Chimehill picks up as your clinic when your team can't, day, night and weekends, and works out what the caller needs.
Your diary is checked live
Before offering a time, it reads the real free slots in your practice software, using only the appointment types and practitioners you allow.
Saved, then confirmed
Bookings, moves and cancellations are saved in your practice software first. Only then does the caller hear it's done.
Weekend sports, Monday-morning phone jam.
Sports clinic phones ring hardest on match day and the morning after. If a parent or player rings on Sunday night and no one picks up, they often book the clinic down the road by Monday. Chimehill answers each call, books the injury where it can and takes a careful message where it can't.
Match dayCourt-side. Phone ringing.
Your physio is strapping an ankle at the ground and can't take the clinic line.
Monday morningA queue at the desk
Weekend injuries all ring at once. One person at reception can't be on three calls.
After hoursThe clinic is closed
People ring on Sunday night to book Monday. Chimehill answers and books them in.
Answer every call without leaving the treatment room

Books match-day injuries
New-injury assessments as the longer appointment type, with the sports doctor or physio the caller asks for, into a real slot in your diary.
Books telehealth reviews
Follow-ups and return-to-play reviews as telehealth where you allow it, so a 20-minute review never lands in a full assessment slot.
Handles seasonal rebooking
Pre-season check-ins and in-season rebookings move within your notice policy, with the new slot re-checked before anything is saved. Old slots go back in the diary.
Covers after hours
Weekend evenings, public holidays and the morning after a game: callers book or leave a message instead of ringing off, and parents calling late get a time, not voicemail.
Loops in your team
WorkCover, health-fund rebates, Medicare care plans and anything clinical go to the team as a callback. The AI never gives injury or return-to-play advice.

Passed to a sports clinician
- Books the longer assessment appointment
- What-to-bring from your approved notes
- “Saved” only after the diary confirms
Connect to the software you use daily
Chimehill reads your live diary in Cliniko, Splose, PracSuite or Nookal and books in real time. A caller is told they're booked only once your software saves it.

Careful with every call
Chimehill never triages an injury, grades it, or clears anyone to play. A caller describing new pain or weakness is offered an assessment or a callback from a clinician, and urgent language follows the escalation script your clinicians approved.
- Never clinical. No diagnosis, triage or treatment advice
- Checks who's calling before opening or changing a booking
- Urgent or distressing calls follow the escalation script your clinicians approve
- Tells callers they're booked only once your software confirms it

Questions clinics ask us
Can it book match-day and weekend injuries?
Yes. New injuries book as your longer sports-assessment appointment with the clinician the caller asks for, if that clinician's diary is open. If every slot is full, Chimehill offers the next real time or a callback — it never squeezes a new injury into a short follow-up slot.
Can it book telehealth reviews?
Yes, if telehealth is an appointment type in your practice software and you let Chimehill book it. It confirms whether the appointment is in person or telehealth before saving, and reads out any telehealth prep notes you've approved.
Will it triage an injury or advise on return to play?
No. Severity, grading, imaging and return-to-play all go to the clinician — Chimehill never guesses. It offers the next available assessment or a callback, and urgent language follows the escalation script your clinicians approved.
What about WorkCover and health-fund rebates?
Chimehill can share the admin facts you've approved, like whether you offer on-the-spot claiming. Questions about a caller's cover, a WorkCover claim or a third-party claim go to the team with a short summary.
Which practice software does it book into?
Cliniko, Splose, PracSuite and Nookal, live as of October 2026. Chimehill reads live availability and only says an appointment is booked once your software has saved it. Using something else? Tell us when you book a demo.
Can we keep our clinic phone number?
Yes. You forward calls to Chimehill — all calls, only overflow while your team is treating, or only after hours — and you can change that or switch it off whenever you like.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at $249 a month (AUD) for 100 calls; the recommended plan is $379 for 200 calls. Calls past your allowance are $2.70 each. Every plan starts with 14 days free and there are no lock-in contracts.
Will callers know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. Chimehill introduces itself as your clinic's virtual receptionist on every call, and a caller who asks for a person always gets your configured fallback — a transfer or a callback.
Every call deserves an answer.
